The third edition of Homo Faber – Mindcraft, Pietrasanta’s city-wide celebration of its Artigiani (the artisans,) and their intimate relationship with the International artists who live and produce their sculptures, mosaics, and inlay-work in “the City of Art.”

It’s ostensibly part of the 450th celebration-year of Michelangelo’s death – but it’s a lot more than that; among the artists represented this year are: Margot Homan, Fernando Botero and Igor Mitoraj, Girolamo Ciulla and Kan Yasuda, Deredia and Dashi Namdakov, Sophia Vari and Helaine Blumenfeld, Rinaldo Bigi and Maria Gamundi and also Ana Maria Alonso, Katerina Minardo, Elisa Corsini, Giuliano Orlandi, Massimo Bertolini, Stefanie Oberneder, John Bizas, Davide Cancogni, Philippe Delenseigne, Turid Gyllenhammar, Eppe de Haan, Jan Pater, Alena Matejkova, Yemisi Wilson, Julia Vance, Evelina Ravaglia, Francesco Galeotti, Inger Sannes, Almuth Tebbenhoff, Dirk Wilhelm, Strebelle, Robin Bell, Danà, Bernard Bezzina, and Szymon Oltarzewski.

The opening reception is Saturday, the 14th of June, 2014, at 7pm.
